Joe Hart has claimed that England deserved to be booed by supporters during their 2-1 win against Hungary. The Three Lions were berated by some fans off the back of their dismal World Cup showing this summer, where they exited at the last 16 stage with a 4-1 drubbing by Germany. The Manchester City goalkeeper was in the final 23 that went to South Africa, but played no part in their four games, but is now expected to take the No.1 jersey as the future of English football. The 23-year-old also praised the fans who cheered the team on during the game, with captain Steven Gerrard scoring twice to see under-fire boss Fabio Capello’s team come from behind to win at Wembley. “I thought it was very fair. It was very varied. There were an awful lot of people in there and we were very grateful for that because we could well have turned up to an empty stadium.
